louis-vuitton-neverfull-featureLouis Vuitton’s iconic Neverfull bag is my travel tote of choice, mostly because, as its name suggests, it NEVER GETS FULL. I don’t know how but I’m always able to squeeze that one last thing inside its cavernous interior … sort of like Mary Poppins’ bottomless carpetbag. And for someone who travels with carry-on only, having a bit of extra space is always an enormous help.

Until now, the Louis Vuitton Neverfull bags have only been available in the company’s traditional (and staid) colours – the standard monogram pattern and Damier, in both Ebene and Azur. But that’s no longer the case. Louis Vuitton has just launched a line of Neverfull bags in seven vibrant colours, made from Epi leather, a durable leather that’s dyed all the way through and specifically designed to pass the test of time … as it well should, considering its hefty price tag!

The new line of candy-coloured Neverfulls are not only a fun way to add a bold statement to your wardrobe but they’re the perfect carry-all for travelers. Currently, these bags are only available in the Medium MM size.

    I love these bags! I am debating getting one of these or one with a zipper. But I’ve heard the ones with zippers are a lot heavier on your shoulder. Decisions, decisions….

      Hi Carol! Aren’t they so much fun? I have the Damier tote and it doesn’t have a zipper. I hadn’t heard that the ones with zippers were a lot heavier but if that’s the case, I suggest going for whatever’s lightest. Who needs to carry around the extra weight? These bags seem to be way more expensive than the original totes, though {sigh}

    Hi Natalie,

    Thanks for this post – I was looking for an upgraded replacement to my longchamp tote that doubles as a gym bag for me. Any other ideas for bags of this size? I’ve checked Celine and Chloe – both have nice options, but unfortunately, the Celine one doesn’t have a zipper, and the Chloe one may be too small.
