This year marks Canada’s 151st birthday and as a proud Canadian, I’m ready to celebrate! Canada means everything to me – it’s a land of peace, kindness and opportunity that every day, I’m grateful to be a citizen of. When I was a child, I took frequent road trips with my family. Mostly close to home to towns and cities across Ontario but once, across the western prairies to Edmonton and once, through the picturesque landscapes of eastern Canada to P.E.I. I’ve never forgotten these trips and those hours in the back seat, watching our beautiful nation whizzing by outside my window. Seeing the natural beauty of our country reminded me then, and reminds me still, how very fortunate we are to live here.
So, in honour of our great nation’s birthday, here are 10 beautiful places to explore in Canada. Whether you call Canada home or are planning to visit, these Canadian locations should make their way on to your must-visit list. Each one is spectacularly beautiful!

Ate snow crab for the first time, stayed in a house where the owner showed up when he felt like it, met some interesting people, and just vegged out for a few days.
