I love a fab collaboration as much as the next gal and this latest, between two of my favourite brands, marries my love of travel and design together in a perfect union.

Famed aerial photographer Gray Malin has partnered with Away Travel to create a new lineup of luggage that’s just delicious. Inspired by Malin’s extensive travels to some of the world’s most enviable spots, this limited edition luggage collection is available in three colours:

Ocean: Inspired by the turquoise waters of the Rio coastline
Alpine: Inspired by the ski slopes of Whistler
Coral: Inspired by the warm pink coral of Bondi Beach

Each suitcase is lined with one of Malin’s signature aerial photographs to add an unexpected surprise, and a pop of interior colour and pattern.

I recently started traveling with Away and it’s now my go-to luggage. The carry-on is so lightweight, plus it has a built-in USB charger so you can stay connected on the go. And now that I’m traveling with my young son, I use the large suitcase most frequently and love it for its capacious interior and sleek, minimal yet thoughtful design. It’s got an unbreakable polycarbonate shell and maneuvers like a dream, essential when you’re toting a little one in your arms.

My Away suitcases are grey, chic and timeless, but perfectly sensible. These new colours are just so much fun and make me want to jet off some place fabulous. I’ve got my eye on the ‘Ocean’ colour, which would be perfect for an upcoming trip to Hawaii, don’t you agree?

The suitcases are available in four sizes: The Carry-On, The Bigger Carry-On, The Medium and The Large. Since this is a limited edition collection, you’ll want to order yours soon before they’re all gone!

I just discovered your blog in my quest to pick a new suitcase. I was blown away by your post on how much you packed in to your carry-on for a two week trip to India. I have decided on an Away suitcase, but can’t decide if I want the carry-on or the bigger carry-on. I feel like whenever I fly through Europe, they weigh my carry-on and it’s over-weight so I have to check it anyway, so it makes little sense to get the international carry-on. However, do they weigh my bag, because they can tell it’s bigger than the international carry-on size? It seems so small and if I’m only travelling internationally once or twice a year, and domestically on a weekly basis, I feel like I should get the bigger carry-on. I tell you, such a conundrum of first world problems! 🙂 But I would appreciate your feedback. Thanks!
