For many people, summer is the time to take a vacation. It’s when the kids are out of school and the weather is good. But it’s also the time that everyone else is taking vacation, meaning hotels, airports and popular destinations are teeming with tourists and prices for everything are inflated.
Me? Summer is the time of year I most look forward to being home. The temperature is the best it will be all year and I look forward to enjoying all that good weather with friends and family. Al fresco dinners under the stars, outdoor entertaining in the warm summer air, weekend barbecues with hamburgers and ice cream – this is what summer is all about!
