    Hi Natalie,

You have the absolutely best fashion roundups for travel and I love the graphic look on the blog. (Oh, I write frequently for John on his website, just as an introduction, that I’ve been following both of your work for a while!) I want to do something similar for a green website that I have. Are you just an amazing website designer, or is there a product or app that you could suggest for product roundups? Thanks so much and keep up the amazing work, Kim

      Hi Kim,
So great to hear from you! Thank you so much for your comments – it means a lot to me! Especially since I am not a graphic designer and have no training. I really just pay attention to graphics everywhere – on other blogs, in newsletters, in retailer emails that I subscribe to and take my inspiration from there. I do it all (painstakingly, haha) in PhotoShop, using my very limited skills. I’d really like to learn a lot more about graphic design and how to make beautiful pages. My pages take me a long time but I really enjoy doing them!

So, unfortunately I don’t have a product or app to recommend. Just PhotoShop and a bucket of patience! 🙂

        Natalie,

Well, you might not think that you’re a graphic designer, but all that you do is beautiful and well done!!! They all look good and your work is stunning! The effort is paying off 🙂

Excellent call on the Tieks shoes, I bought the limited edition pair in Rose Gold. I know they seem pricey, but they are worth it in my opinion.

I totally agree, Dona. They aren’t the cheapest shoes you can find but I’ve worn mine so much that I can’t complain about the price. I really get my money’s worth out of them. To have a super duper comfortable shoe that you can walk for hours and hours in without hurting your feet is really important when you’re traveling. And I also love that they fold up easily and take up next to no room in your suitcase.

Really – you are showing cosmetic bags for $200+ while I am looking for the cheapest way to fly & stay at a hotel that I can afford!

Point taken, Catherine. It’s a pretty bag but definitely a huge splurge.

Can you recommend a website or store that sells clothing for older (70’s)women that isn’t backless, strapless, and bottomless? We don’t want to look like grandma moses either.
