Not too long ago, as I wandered through my favourite bookstore, Indigo, I came across a set of three pretty journals, all featuring beautiful images of Paris on the cover. Paris is, hands down, my favourite city in the world, and the journals were the perfect combination of form and function – beautiful to look at and exactly what I needed for taking notes at work. I bought the set for $14.99 and love using them.
Irene’s photography has a vintage touch and all the images are in soft, muted, romantic colours.
A few months later, while window-shopping on Etsy, I stumbled upon a shop called EyePoetryPhotography, featuring stunning photographs by Montreal-based photographer Irene Suchocki. I scrolled through pages and pages of her photos when one in particular caught my eye. It was an image of the Eiffel tower that I recognized from the cover of one of my journals.
Irene’s photography has a vintage touch and all the images are in soft, muted, romantic colours. Most of her collection features photos from Paris, London, New York and San Francisco. Featured above are a selection of photos I like best; all of them make me yearn to visit these world-class cities and see them again through her eyes.
Dreamy and delightful, I can’t stop gazing at these photos and thought you may be as enthralled with them as I am.
