The first time I visited Florida, it was on a family vacation when I was 12 years old. We drove, all the way from Toronto and it was one of the best family vacations we ever had! Many years later, I met the man who would become my husband in Florida and years after that, he proposed to me in Florida. So the Sunshine State has become pretty special and significant to me.
